Beginner Questions Answered
Absolutely! 70% of our members started as complete beginners. Our instructors specialize in teaching first-timers and will have you confident on the slopes in no time. Everyone starts somewhere!
No! We provide all equipment including skis, boots, helmets, and protective gear. Sessions cost £12.50 which includes everything. You can buy your own gear later if you want to, but it's not required.
Most beginners are ready for European trips after 2-3 months of regular training. We offer beginner-friendly trips with extra coaching and support. Many freshers join in September and go on Christmas trips!
Wear warm, waterproof clothing - think layers! Waterproof jacket and trousers, warm gloves, thick socks, and comfortable clothing you can move in. We provide helmets and protective gear.
Yes! Many members try both. We recommend starting with one and getting comfortable before trying the other. Our instructors can teach both, and you can switch between sessions.
We recommend 1-2 sessions per week for steady progress. Consistency is key to learning quickly!
